Who are you?

Do you have a catalogue?
Alas, not at this time.

Are you only on the Web?
Goodness, no! We are a traditional yarn shop that also sells our products online.

Our walk-in shop is in historic downtown Lancaster, SC, and we welcome you to visit us here!

Our street address is:

128 S Main Street

Where does the name come from?
Fuzzy and Mabel—two mutts that wandered into our livesas the kernel for this site and our shop was germinating.

Fuzzy lives up to his name. Part Chow-Chow, part Retriever (your guess at which kind is as good as ours), Fuzzy has plenty of halo, a purple tongue, a generous personality, and loves extra treats.

Mabel, on the other hand, was the anti-Fuzzy. A sleek and gorgeous Dalmatian/Pit Bull/Great Dane (?) mix, she was quick and long, but a simple soul. She was the perfect choice to set our skill level ratings. After all, if Mabel could do it, it *must* be easy. Alas, Mabel passed away in April, 2010, but she remains with us in spirit.
